St John's Prep Pupils Excel In Global Competition

Find out how our prep pupils fought off competition from around the world in a highly competitive literacy competition.

WordMania is a fast paced word building game in which pupils race against the clock, and each other, to build as many words as they can in three minutes from fifteen randomly generated tiles. Y3-6 competed in this competition against other schools around the world.

It was a highly competitive competition. Y3,4 and 6 were placed in the top ten schools in the UK, whilst Y5 were narrowly beaten into second place! Aaryan Halai became the highest scoring pupil, beating his teachers too, and achieved a fabulous score of 4,439 points. Well done everyone!
